We have resumed our annual students’ exchange study program since the interruption caused by the COVID-19. Students from KIOF and TECHNICAL AGRICULTURE TRAINING INSTITUTE (TATI) are already at RUCID ORGANIC AGRICULTURE TRAINING COLLEGE (in Uganda) while RUCID students are already at Kenya Institute of Organic Farming (KIOF) (in Kenya).

Our new semester for the new students for certificate and diploma courses will open on 23/08/2023 and the semester will run until first week of December 2023.

Programs offered at RUCID are:

Certificate in organic agriculture principles and practices

National Certificate in Agriculture (NCA)

The minimum requirement for entry is 3 credits obtained from the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examinations.

Diploma in organic agriculture principles and practices

National diploma in crop production and management

National diploma in animal production and management

National diploma in agro processing and post harvesting and management

The minimum requirement is 2 principles obtained from the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education examinations (UACE)

All programs are 4 semesters’ (that is two years) duration, including class work, industrial training and field internship/attachment. One of the semesters is covered in Kenya, as an opportunity to have practical experiences how agriculture is done across the boarder.

Fees structure has been revised as follow:

Skilling the youth program is in progress, youths are skilled in afro processing in the following value chains juice making, wine making and bakery. Target areas for trainees include the following districts 1 Mukono, 2 Buyikwe, 3 Luweero, 4 Mityana, 5 Wakiso and 6 Kampala.
